The first Wednesday of every month, Surfrider Oahu gathers with all of you at the ProtoHub Honolulu to discuss the issues and engage with the community. On February 4th from 6:30-8:30PM we will be having our first public meeting of the year and we want you there. We'll be introducing new members of the Executive Committee and reviewing the 2015 calendar.
Guest speakers Sam Lemo & Brad Romine from DLNR & UH Sea Grant will be discussing climate action in the legislature and future directions as we adapt to a changing World.
Following up our Civics IS Sexy Workshop our meeting will also recap legislative bills of importance and we'll go through a written testimony together using http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/ to keep fresh on what we learned in the workshop.
Bring your favorite dish or beverage and your own reuseable bowl so we can share a dinner together while we talk.
Still want to engage more? Surfriders often migrate over to Bevy Bar after the meeting to continue the conversation over a drink and monthly performances by Foreseeable Futures on the first Wednesday of the month.
