As part of the Wanderlust Festival, Surfrider Foundation is joining forces with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii and hosting a cleanup for the public and the participants of Wanderlust. We will be focusing on the hardest hit areas of Oahu as it relates to plastic pollution and Japan Tsunami Debris. We encourage you to join us as we clean the coastlines, hunt for treasures, and learn how we can reduce out own impact on our beautiful coastline. Surfrider Foundation is privileged to be able to access the pristine but plastic-infested James Campbell Wildlife Refuge. There we will focus on removing as much plastic and trash as possible. This will be later sorted for part of Method's plastic reuse campaign. Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii will be cleaning Kahuku Point and Kahuku Golf Course Beach.
