Nā Kūpuna Makamae Center
Join us for the first Surfrider O‘ahu Monthly Meeting of 2018 as we kickoff another year of service. We are moving to an exciting new location at the Pacific Gateway Center’s Nā Kūpuna Makamae Center – at the corner of Ala Moana and Kiawe. Some of you may know this historic building as the old pump house.
It is going to be an incredible year for the O‘ahu Chapter, as we just finished our core volunteer retreat and are ready to expand the opportunities available for this amazing community to get involved. We’ll be highlighting the schedule for the year and sharing information on the upcoming Civics IS Sexy session at the State Capitol, including going over priority bills that we bill be following.
Of course we’ll connect you to exciting new developments in our Ocean Friendly Hawai‘i program (Ocean Friendly Restaurants & Gardens, Blue Water Task Force) and discuss our other focus campaigns. We have an incredible core of dedicated teams that are forming and would like you to join them.
Remember, Monthly Meetings are always open to the public and are potluck style – so bring a friend who has never connected with Surfrider and lets grow our ohana of ocean protectors in 2018.
More details to come.
